My name is Ella Fitzgerald, and it is with great excitement that I announce the grand opening of Ella, an intimate live performance venue that pays homage to the birthplace of Jazz music - New Orleans. Ella is not just a venue, but a celebration of the roots of Jazz and a space where intimate performances transport guests to the vibrant streets of this iconic city.
“As a lover of live music, a performer and dubbed as “The First Lady of Song” though- some kids in Italy call me ‘Mama Jazz’; I thought that was so cute. As long as they don’t call me ‘Grandma Jazz’.”
I have always cherished the quaint intimate experience of toe-tapping performances found in the heart of New Orleans. It is this essence that I wanted to bring to the Ella room - a vibrant world where the hustle and bustle of the city fade away as the soulful sounds of saxophones fill the air as you sip on a sazerac and sit by the piano for a front row seat to this musical experience.
Join me at Ella for a taste of New Orleans with South-inspired American classic cocktails and Louisiana bar bites. We have meticulously crafted each drink to bring alive the rich flavors and
traditions of the South. From the Roasted Boulevardier to the Louie Sazerac, paying tribute to my dear friend Louie Armstrong, and the iconic Hurricanes that Frank Sinatra and I used to sip on, each sip will transport you to the vibrant streets of New Orleans.
To complement the lively atmosphere and the spirited libations, I invite you to indulge in our delectable bar bites. I never start a performance without Rockefeller Oysters baked with spinach cream and parmesan from the French Quarter to the infamous New Orleans Muffuletta made with a mouthwatering combination of mortadella, salami, prosciutto, smoked provolone, mozzarella, and homemade olive salsa - I have brought all our favorite flavors from Louisiana to the Ella room.
I personally invite you to join us as we immerse ourselves in the vibrant world of New Orleans. Let the soul of Jazz music and the spirit of Nola guide us on this musical journey.

This intimate space will showcase live bands from talented musicians, featuring a mix of jazz, soul, R&B, pop, and Latin, creating an unforgettable experience for guests every Wednesday to Saturday during the soft opening, starting from 8pm onwards.
